The animated series Baldies tells the story of a fearless bunch of kids who meet among beeping machines in hospital and fight for their health.
The goal of Baldies is to give hope, turn fear into bravery, and burst the bubble of social unease and silence that surrounds cancer and isolates people.

Curious, brave, and creative, Toby learns to overcome fear with happy thoughts and can even face jabs with laughter. He loves nature and dreams of an expedition to see puffins in the wild.
Ema (8)
Ema is upbeat, bright and witty. Having a prosthetic leg doesn't stop her from getting the whole ward to dance. A live-wire, Ema loves helping others and plans to become a doctor.
Lola (15)
Lola is a teenager who struggles with the changes in her appearance. She loves photography and among her Baldies friends she gradually finds her own style and self-confidence.
Hugo (7)
Hugo is a bit shy but possesses deep resilience and kindness. He communicates through rap lyrics, and his dream is to perform his own big concert.
Our Beetle is no ordinary car. He's the buddy who takes the kids on
adventures and expeditions, and shows them how things work inside the
body.
