The world of Baldies is bursting with unique characters that come to life through the magic of animation. We've created an adoption programme that lets you become part of their story. You choose a character, become their patron, and your contribution helps us move the project another step forward.

Contact our Adoption Centre at ahoj@plesouni.com and we'll send you the terms and walk you through the process step by step.

Adoption benefits:

An adoption certificate for your character, confirming exclusivity.

An original signed print of the adopted character by Eliška Soffer Podzimek.

Your logo / name featured on the Baldies website.

The option to use the concept of supporting Baldies across various company activities.

Additional benefits depending on the adoption type:

  • The option to use your adopted character's visuals on your company website and social media. We will provide a graphics pack.

Curious, brave, and creative, Toby learns to overcome fear with happy thoughts and can even face jabs with laughter. He loves nature and dreams of an expedition to see puffins in the wild.

The Baldies' magical talisman and our little heroes' buddy, Beetle turns treatment into adventures and expeditions.

EMA

Ema is upbeat, bright and witty. Having a prosthetic leg doesn't stop her from getting the whole ward to dance. A live-wire, Ema loves helping others and plans to become a doctor.

LOLA

LOLA (15)

Lola is a teenager who struggles with the changes in her appearance. She loves photography and among her Baldies friends she gradually finds her own style and self-confidence.

CAPTAIN CHEMO

CAPTAIN CHEMO

Chemo is a passionate hunter of tumour cells and a friendly face of a tough treatment. Although he doesn't always hit the target perfectly and sometimes causes a bit of chaos, he is always on our side.

Captain Chemo has already been adopted by GHC Genetics.

DAD VINCENT

DAD VINCENT

Toby's dad does everything he can to help. He tries to stay upbeat, keeps spirits afloat, and loves inventing little jokes and plans to make the hospital days feel lighter.

Dad Vincent has already been adopted by Swisslife.

HUGO

Hugo is a bit shy but possesses deep resilience and kindness. He communicates through rap lyrics, and his dream is to perform his own big concert.

DOCTOR MARTA

DOCTOR MARTA

Marta is our main oncology doctor, kind and cheerful. She can explain things clearly and compassionately, and knows how to encourage children and families through difficult moments.

BIG BROTHER YOSI

Like many teenagers, Toby's older brother Yosi carries complex emotions and needs attention too. Even if he wouldn't admit it out loud, he cares deeply for his brother and worries for him.

MUM ESTER

MUM ESTER

Mum Ester surrounds Toby with love and safety – even while having to deal with her own fear. She supports his creativity and tries to build small moments of joy into each day.

Mum Ester has already been adopted by Swisslife.

JESSE

Toby's best friend outside the hospital, Jesse helps him keep up with school and stay connected to classmates and everyday life. The pair used to be inseparable, and now they are learning how to navigate a new reality together.

A symbol of Toby's dream expedition to the North Sea where puffins nest. Toby first saw puffins at the zoo – but he longs to observe them in the wild, and draw them there.
